Siesta Motel

If your looking for a great, affordable, and friendly place to stay. This is the place. The entire room was very clean. Smelled fresh. Management and owners were more than fantastic. They gave me and my family all the ins and outs of our surroundings. I will be going back to siesta motel again!!!!

I stayed in the small efficiency #5. Has everything you need! Small fridge, microwave, etc. Its not the Ritz but adorable just the same. So, if you're looking for budget friendly, this is it! Room was clean, bed was soooo comfortable. Yes, there were a couple gnats (it is Florida after all). Not enough to be bothersome. Wifi worked the whole time. Sure, there are cosmetic flaws. Again, nothing bothersome to me. Only thing I would change asap is the shower curtain. That was a bit off-putting for me. Considering a new curtain is inexpensive and would only take minutes to change. This was a same day, last minute stay. The lady at the office was so helpful in getting me a room. Note, there is no onsite pool. However, there is a beautiful pool 4.1 miles away at Sunset Grille bar/restaurant. The HEATED pool is out back overlooking the ocean. It was perfectly heated for March. I paid $3.00 for a Shirley Temple and stayed for hours!! Fuel station next door to motel. I would definitely stay at Siesta motel again! Thank you for allowing me to be a guest!

This is a great spot. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and safe. No sandy or sticky floors or surfaces. Not super fancy but we slept great and had the best shower pressure, especially after a day out on the water! We will book again because it was literally perfect for our little weekend adventures in the keys. The hostess was so sweet and gave us the best places to check out.

I hate to bring good attention to a gem like this place fearing that the word will get out about how great this place is. BUT! I want it to be here when I come back so a five star it is. This is my go-to place when visiting the Keys from now on. The ladies working were very nice and accommodating. The space was incredible, dated, but incredible. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a kitchenette available in the room we had if one wanted to cook in rather than eating out. The price was right on the money and being in the middle keys the location was perfect for adventuring in both directions to see everything.

We stayed in Room A for a week which was equipped with everything we needed and was quite lovely. Price was also among the most reasonable of options during peak season. The host and staff were very pleasant and always checked in on us in passing to see if we needed anything. Great first trip to a Marathon / the Keys. Much gratitude!

Passing through on the motorcycle, this was a perfect spot to do exactly what we needed. Sleep and take a shower. The location was right on one halfway between Key Largo and Key West.. pubs and restaurants scattered all over within 10 minutes ride. Drink responsibly… owners of the place are super good folks.

Even though I have given the rooms 3 stars please do not avoid this motel. I am rating this against a 5 star room in a hotel that is 5 times the nightly price! This is perfect and considering where it is, it is very very cost effective. Located at the side of the us 1 it is good for access to both Miami and Key West. Our superior room had a microwave, full size fridge/freezer and coffee making facilities (oddly no cups?). A pair of double beds and a bathroom....what more do you need! Compared to the other hotels and motels around here it is the cheapest by a long shot. Things to note: Strangely, checking is at 2:00 p.m. This doesn't help when you book last minute and it's after 2:00 p.m! Do not panic, call the number on the door. Give the man your reservation number and he will tell you which room to go to to let yourself in. It's not very obvious when you actually book but simple when you realise. HOWEVER....this morning a cockroach ran from under the bed. I know this is a common occurrence however it is unsettling to foreign travellers.

Best prices on the Island and I love the owners! Everyone's so great and the rooms are nice and clean.

Needed a stay at very morning hours. I was accommodated very well and at a fair price. Nice mom & pop motel. Highly recommend.

The staff here are great, friendly and helpful with late check in. Very charming rooms, the ceiling is beautiful. Full size fridge/freezer, good water pressure and heat, the AC worked perfectly. I was happy with the value.
